Zulu Beadwork Workshop

As part of their visit from Swayimane in South Africa, Nozipho Zondi and Shonaphi S'bisi will be hosting a series of workshops with different community groups and for the general public. They will be teaching a range of ages and abilities to make jewellery and beaded keyrings.

If you enjoy crafting and creativity, or want to hear more about life in rural KwaZulu Natal, do get in touch! There are a range of options to suit all ages, abilities and pockets!

One option is our Thursday evening event on March 19th where we will be making a complex and stunning piece of jewellery. There are only 10 spaces available and they are filling up fast! The evening will include a glass of wine, and light refreshments. There will also be an opportunity to view the Museum's collection of textiles and beadwork.

Necklace being made on Thursday 19th.
